Description
Fair Housing & Antitrust (4 CE Hours) Instructor: Steve Willoughby This course provides real estate professionals with a comprehensive review of Fair Housing and Antitrust laws and how they apply to everyday brokerage activities. Participants will examine federal Fair Housing protections, prohibited practices, and real-world scenarios that help identify potential violations in advertising, client interactions, and property showings. The class also explores antitrust laws affecting real estate, including price fixing, group boycotts, market allocation, and other conduct that could expose agents and brokerages to legal risk. Through practical examples and discussion, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how to maintain compliance while serving clients ethically and professionally. By the end of the course, REALTORS® will better understand how to protect themselves, their clients, and their brokerage by recognizing risky situations and applying best practices for Fair Housing compliance and antitrust awareness in today’s real estate marketplace. This course provides 4 Continuing Education (CE) credit hours.Images
