Class 1: Deductions & Power Moves

This course provides an overview of recent federal tax law changes and the deductions and tax strategies most relevant to real estate professionals, homeowners, and investors. Topics include allowable deductions, business expenses, depreciation strategies, and planning considerations under current tax law. Designed to help REALTORS® better understand tax impacts that may affect their clients and their own business operations.

Class 2: Tax Implications of Real Estate Investments

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This course explores the tax implications of residential real estate investments, including rental income, expenses, depreciation, and investment analysis. Participants will gain an understanding of how tax rules impact investment returns, the Real Estate Professional Rule, and common strategies such as IRC 1031 exchanges. Ideal for REALTORS® working with investors or interested in building their own investment knowledge.
